Words mixed up

Case 1: McDonald's vs Old MacDonald

Everyday, we will passed by Mc'D in GreenLane on the way to Jo2's school. He will start to sing :" Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I -O........" At first, I thought he juz feel like to sing until I noticed that he actually pointing at the restaurant and sing the old MacDonald song (repeatably). Slap my head, I was slow to realise this.

Case 2: Oh! Men vs Old man

Whenever Jo1 makes something that he think it's a big deal, he would slap his forehead and say:"Oh! Men." and Jo1 would say:'what, old man, u -la look like old man, that's why teacher call u UNCLE Joshua."

Case 3: tummy ache vs tummy egg

Every time I tried to stop him from eating the junk food I would lie to my kids that those food can cause tummy ache. One day, Jo2 showed me his big tummy(after dinner) and told me that he has tummy ache. At first, I thought he was overfed. But, he told me that there are 3 eggs inside his tummy, then only I realise that he mistaken the word "ache" as "egg"

Ballet pre-examination week

2 weeks from now, Jo1 is going to have her pre-primary ballet exam and parents are invited to watch their children's progress inside the studio during their practise. 4 person in a group, but Lay Ying was late for the practise on Sunday so left only Jo1, YiWen & Ritrisha. I also forgot to bring along my camera to take video of the whole session. So, I got no choice but to use my mobile phone, better than nothing right......

  1. Introduction - skipping
  2. Sailing the boat
  3. Point front & close
  4. Rocking baby

Session ends @ 11:55am, and her ballet instructor also gave us some briefing about the exam on what they should and shouldn't do. They have to come 1 hr earlier on that day and also hair must glue up (put gel) and no baby hair (loose) for Jo1's case.

My favourite song from Jo2

There are a few songs that teacher taught Jo2, and he will sing it out when he is in good mood but not upon request. Amongst all I love this song, here's how it goes:

Mommy, mommy I love u,
You know that I really do;
I know that u love me too,
that's why I sing for u.........

Haha, this song is simple and short but it means a lot and it touches everyone's heart whenever he sing it b'coz he will change the mommy part to anyone like "daddy or kong-kong or jie-jie or even kakak(maid)" so I bet I am not the only one that like this song.

Birthday @ school

Note: TQ Mrs. Ang for taking these photos for us.

Mommy decided to let Jo2 celebrate yr b'day @ school so that he can have all his classmates sing b'day song for him. Jo2 was a bit shy and he closed his eyes when everyone sang the b'day song for him. But, he really had a great time when he cut the cakes and gave away party bags to his friends.

Happy Birthday, Joshua........with lots of love from Daddy, mommy and Jolene jie jie.

I have 2 ballerinas @ home

Jo1 is sitting for her Ballet exam on 3 Nov. On top of the normal lesson she has on every Sat, now she has to go for extra lessons on Sun, and the fees is only 70% of the fees we paid every month. Besides, we have to buy a CD for her to practise @ home. Ms. Chin, her Ballet instructor only give a "star" shape sticker to those who did practise to dance @ home. So, Jo1 has to practise and write down the date and time and show it to her instructor in order for her to get the stick. Now, whenever Jo1 practise to dance, Jo2 follow her footsteps too, and I really have fun seeing both of them dance.
