I blogged about Jo1's Ballet pre-examination week last year, and this year's falls on 18 Oct. This year more mommies turned up with their camera, so lots of flashes when they started to dance. Her partner for this year is Aerin. Only two of them and the examiner will be in the studio during exam, teachers not allowed.

Basically, syllabus included knee bend, rises with arm movements, step to the side and lift, step close step & point, step close step & hop, hands opening and closing, wrists bending up and down, set arm exercises, steps taken around the room, steps and elevation, run point and port de bras, clapping waltz 3/4 & Polka 2/4, walking 4, clapping 4, walking 3, clapping 1, Twilight Elf dance, and lastly courtesy or bow.

Hello. Little girls dancing ballets are so cute. We had them dancing for us during our wedding dinner last year. Everybody was enchanted. Your daughters are so cute too. Must be a handful bringing them up.
